Yesterday, my parents said that there was a tornado, in our backyard. I'm not one to to deny that from happening, but wouldn't it do more damage than a few branches torn off? Well I guess it could be that it was just a really strong gust of wind. When I was a kid I did see a whirlwind, though it was small, it picked up dirt and leaves on the ground. The "tornado" did a number on the trees though, but it did light up the place. It wrecked a few branches and let the sunshine through. I have heard from my parents, that my aunt's roof was nearly torn off. I don't know how, but I think it may just be an exaggeration. To tear a roof apart, it must be enough to tear branches... I think it must have actually happened. The tree branches, the "tornado", the almost torn off roof,the unnatural amount of rain afterwards. I need to inquire more about it.
